Do you enjoy being a Janitor's assistant?
Yes, it's full of things to do and is never dull. I'm glad I got this placement.
What have you learned?
A lot! I've learned everything from how to take out a broken window to how to monitor the amount of calcium in a swimming pool. It would take an hour to list it all!
What have you done?
There's another question that I can't really answer! I'll try though. I have tested the pool water, took a delivery of fuel, made two projects for the early stages section (cardboard photo frames and a rainbow made from handprints), made John coffee, took out a broken window, set up and cleared the hall for lunch, reported the broken window, set up and cleared the Book Fair, prepared for a photo competition and washed soft toys for a raffle.
Would you be a Janitor as a full time job?
It's certainly one of my options. As of yet i haven't made a concrete decision, but i have plenty of options and a Janitor may end up what i become.
Would you recommend this job to anyone?
Definitely, as long as they are prepared for a lot of work and a variety of things to do. Being a Janitor is not for a lazy person or someone who wants to relax all of the time. If you are a hardworking person then this is a good average job for you. |
